Greetings from the West

Brethren,

First, I’d like to thank Worshipful Brother Tom Machak for filling in for me in my absence at the March communication. I had a medical procedure done earlier in the day and was still “groggy” from the anesthesia. (No jokes about me being in a fog all the time anyway! Ha!) Thanks, Tom!

Congratulations are due Brother Tom Hill for being selected as the 2010 Mason of the Year. Brother Tom is always very active and willing to help. He’s also always smiling! Kind of makes you wonder what he’s up to! Congratulations Brother!!

With the BBQ coming up next month, I’d like to challenge each of you to sell some BBQ tickets! We have some members who sell 20, 30, 50, and even over 100, yet we have far too many who sell NONE! With over 200 members, if each one of us sold only 5 tickets, that would be over 1000 sold! You can do the math and see how this would help your lodge in these economically tough times. I KNOW each of you has at least 5 friends that would like to enjoy the BBQ. PLEASE ask them. Call any officer for tickets!! For those who don’t know, the Brother who sells the most wins a gift certificate to TGI Friday’s!

Our Junior Warden Brother Chris Hall will be conferring the EA degree on March 25th. Come on out and support him and the candidates.

I look forward to seeing you at the upcoming degree work and our next meeting.
