Brethren,
Thank you to all who came out and helped with the BBQ. It was a huge success! I have received numerous compliments about how good it was this year; and it was VERY good. I’ve already got people asking for tickets to the fall BBQ! Everyone did a great job but I’d like to especially thank Preston King and the night crew for the great job. The BBQ was great!
Grand Lodge was held in Greenville April 28th and 29th. Nothing major in the way of any changes was voted on. We do have a new Grand Master, MWB Jay Adam Pearson of Inman Lodge #201. You can read his full Biography on the Grand Lodge website. Our new Junior Grand Warden is William (Bill) Logan of Mathews Lodge in Greenwood, and our new DDGM is Robert Andrew (Andy) Jones of Star Lodge #99 in Graniteville.
As you can see on the trestle board, we will be conferring the EA degree on May 20th. Please come join us in this important step in this young man’s life and first step in his Masonic Journey.
